"Work" Babies
Kevin's work, Workday, gave the twins many wonderful presents when they were born one of which were Workday onesies. The company has been keeping track of new additions to the Workday family and as you can see Jack & Siena are #31 and #32.

Thank you to Auntie Karen & Uncle EJ for the adorable Cal Bear (reversible) baseball caps. They are perfect and just in time for the Cal football season. Here are a few pics of the twins trying them out for the first time.

8 Months
This month we finally made it to a professional photos studio - JC Penny's! : ) Although the twins were a bit tired and didn't love the experience we were able to squeak out a couple cute pictures on their 8 month birthday. We love you Siena & Jack!

Jack Is On The Move!!!
Jack has started crawling this week and pulling himself up on anything he can reach! He has been working very hard over the past 3 months to get to this point and this week it all clicked for him. He is so proud of himself and doesn't want to do anything but crawl and stand. He even needed to start wearing his special shoes, that say JACK on them, from the Rasgon's to give himself some traction. We love you so much and are so proud of you Jack!

La Petite Baleen
We started swim class today! What a blast! The LRD's taught us about La Petite Baleen and so we have been patiently waiting for our turn to join swim class. We go every Sunday at 2:30 pm and this Sunday was our first time. Although it was short, 30 minutes (actually 20 by the time the new parents figured everything out), it was great and both Kevin and I didn't want it to end.
Jack did really well. He was calm and splashed in the water. He was floating on the large mat and inner tube, went through a tunnel on his back (with the assistance of our instructor Todd) and went under water for the first time with the help of Daddy! He even wore baby goggles as you can see below. He was a really good sport and I think overall enjoyed it.
Siena on the other hand, had a hard time. We think all the commotion of the pool and people scared her a bit. She spent the first 10 minutes crying in Daddy's arms and then next 10 minutes crying in Mommy's arms. But she was a very good sport and stuck it out in the pool. We just gently swam with her and bounced in the water. Hopefully this week she will become more comfortable and see all the cool stuff there is to do in a swimming pool. We can't wait to get up to Nana & Papa's this summer and show off their new skills!
Thank you to Justine for taking these pictures. With both parents in the pool we couldn't have captured these precious moments of their 1st time in the water. Thank you Hoosie! xxoo

Happy Retirement Nana!!!
This past week we packed up the babies and headed north to Fort Bragg. We went to celebrate Millie/Mom/Nana's retirement! YAHOOOO! We stayed at a gorgeous and very spacious beach house that overlooked the Pacific Ocean as well as a large beach cove. It was the twins first official vacation and they did great. It was as if they knew they were on vacation because they were so happy, full of smiles and squeals that first morning. It was a treat to spend an extended period of time with Nana & Papa as well as the Tony, Gigi, Emily and Christian. We all spent lots of time on the beach, took a day trip to the Redwoods, golf for Kevbo & Don, horseback riding on the beach for Megan & Emily, afternoon touring around Fort Bragg, completing two very hard puzzles all together, and of course watching "So You Think You Can Dance!" and "The Bachelorette"! : )
Thank you, thank you Nana & Papa for an amazing, generous vacation and for bringing us all together. It is a treat to know that we will all have those special memories for years to come.
