We headed up to Rocklin for July 4th this summer. We had a nice long weekend together with all the Roberts’ and then Kevin headed back home to work for the week while Megan and the kids stayed in Rocklin to play with everyone.
Although Mom loves the heat (98-102 degrees during our stay) the twins had a hard time. Sleeping and eating were hard for them because they were too hot and Siena even developed a pretty strong heat rash. But, thankfully we had lots of pool and water time to help keep them cool and entertained.
A special thank you to everyone for all your help with Jack & Siena. Nana was a saint and got up early each morning and endured repetitive “Dora The Explorer”, let us all stay an extra 4 DAYS and had a big smile on her face as we not so gently took over their home. Papa was great and helped introduced the twins to bowling and played endlessly with them at the local parks, Emily was the best babysitter/bather/fun cousin the entire week and Megan could not have survived without her help. Auntie Gigi was very generous and took time off of work to help keep us all entertained at the local water parks and Chuckie Cheese. Christian made the best games and tunnels to help keep the twins happy and entertained and last but not least Uncle Tony brought out big smiles in a very overtired Siena and made her giggle. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your love, support and wonderful memories!!
We all had a great time and can’t wait for a long visit again soon!
We love and miss you all very much!
