To celebrate a belated Mother’s Day we took the kids on their first bike ride today in Tiburon. At first the kids weren’t too wild about sitting in a bike trailer behind Daddy but after a while they were enjoying it. Then Siena’s helmet started to fall and cover her face. From that point on the new experience of bike riding went quickly down hill. Poor little kids. What torturous parents!! Next time we will try the toddler seats on top of the bike so that they can see what is going on and not feel so cramped and hot.

Rocklin Visit
We headed up to Rocklin this weekend for Emily’s 11th Birthday and Sierra’s Spring Concert. We didn’t do a good job of taking pictures but we did get a few cute ones of Jack wearing his first backpack (filled with blocks). He looks SO BIG! Where did our babies go???

18 Months
We took another trip to JC Penny’s this week to capture our cuties in their second official photo session. Thankfully Nonnie was there to help and keep the babies smiling and out of mischief. We couldn’t have done it without you Nonnie!
Jack took much more to this experience than last time. He was a superstar full of smiles, energy and laughs. Siena is still getting used to her role as a model but she stuck with it and we were able to get a few pictures of her sweet smile.
Enjoy!

Visiting Pop McGourty
We FINALLY went to go visit Megan’s Dad at the cemetery and take a birth announcement to share with him. It was the first time Jack & Siena had been to Pop’s grave site and they actually did really well wondering around the cemetery helping us looking for the headstone. ; ) By the time we found the site they were a bit tired but at least they were able to “meet” their other Grandpa. We love you Dad/Pop!
Rocking Horse
Mom went a little crazy at the Consignment Sale for the Parents of Multiples club this weekend and bought the kids a rocking horse. They love the one’s at their pediatrician's office so we thought a rocking horse would be a big hit at our home – and it was! They actually have found a way to share it and ride at the same time. They both stand on either side and hold onto the handles and rock the horse together. What good sharers! : )

Reading with Daddy
Nonnie brought over a bunch of Megan’s childhood books including Richard Scarry’s Great Big Schoolhouse. It has quickly become Siena’s favorite because there are tons of kitties on each page. Here are a few pictures of Jack & Siena enjoying this book with Daddy. Three very cute faces to love on a very happy Mother’s Day!

Workday Run
We headed out to Danville today to hang with the Workday crew. Workday sponsored a run and family picnic in Danville so we took the twins out so they could meet and play with all the other Work-babies. They loved playing on the train with Jenny and her mom.

Little Baristas
We have a new weekend tradition in our home. While Kevin makes coffee the twins stand on chairs “helping” Daddy with the coffee grinder and maker. It’s pretty cute. They love the loud sound of the grinder. They squeal with excitement while Kevin grinds the bean. Then Jack helps push all the buttons on the coffee maker to get it going. It’s pretty cute to watch them as they anticipate the coffee brewing into the pot. Their little legs dance and feet stomp because they are so excited to see it drip down while shouting “wa-wa, wa-wa!”
We will never make coffee again without thinking of our little baristas ! : )
P.S. – How cute is Siena is her new mini CAL dress. ; )
