Beach Day
With another short heat wave coming through San Francisco today, we decided to enjoy it on the beach with the twins. We went to Chrissy Field Beach in the morning which was perfect, not too hot and not too cold. The babies loved putting their toes in the cold, bay water and eating sand.

This weekend Megan was busy getting ready for Karen Jue’s Baby Shower so Kevin was on baby duty. Thanks Kevbo!!! To pass the time, Dad and babies enjoyed Fort Mason and our local playground.

Weekend in Rocklin
What a great (but fast) weekend at Nana & Papa’s this week. It was amazing to have all the “cousins” together and see them interact with one another. We did manage to get them seated in one place for a group picture. It wasn’t easy but will definitely be one to look back on and smile!
Thank you to the Rasgon’s for a great BBQ lunch at the pool. That was a real treat!

Double Island 2009!
We made it! After a United flight to Sea-Tac and a seaplane ride to West Sound we finally made it to Double Island with the twins...and it is awesome! Definitely different from the past 10 years, when we had zero responsibility other than helping to make dinner, but still awesome. It amazes me that we are still so blessed to be able to escape to this little piece of heaven every summer. Our memories and major life milestones continue to grow at this very special place. It was such a treat to be able to bring Jack & Siena to a place that means so much to our family.
Jack & Siena actually did really great considering it was their first flights and long travel day. Personally, we think they loved Double. They were all smiles between the walks around the island, watching all the dogs, berry and vegetable picking in the gardens, playing with the other kids, huge areas to crawl and explore, playing pickle ball (ok - they were in bjorns but it still counts) and being out on Thog.
Thank you to Kara & Woody for planning another amazing trip to Double. It means so much to us.
Thank you to Papa Tractor & Yaya for inviting us to your home for another wonderful summer and for giving up your cabin to the four of us for the long weekend. We and the twins are very appreciative!!
Can't wait for Summer 2010!
PS - Dan, there better be an annual Iron Chef! That was awesome!
